Autonomous car model and simulation¶
We’re building a model of an autonomous car using ROS framework. The idea is to have a fully functional car in 1:10 scale that we can use for experiments, development and testing of Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms.
Current status¶
- We have a car-like robot controlled using Jetson Nano with ROS or a radio controller.
- We’ve implemented manual steering and communication with sensors, both accessible form a web GUI.
- There is also a 3D representation of the model that can be visualized in rviz.
- Fully operational simulation in Gazebo.
